Better Together Education Series

Learn how to make your neighbourhood better together!

We invite community members—including housed and unhoused residents, business owners, and service providers—to join us for free education and training sessions to better understand issues related to poverty, unsheltered homelessness, and mental health.

Better Together Education sessions focus on a different topic each month:

• September 2023 - Mental Health, Addictions, and Trauma
• October 2023 - Indigenous Cultural Safety
• November 2023 - Gender Based Violence
• January 2024 - Poverty and Trauma 
• February 2024 - Trauma Informed De-escalation and Introductory Helping skills

The same content is being provided at three different locations each month—so register for the session closest to you.

Cost: Free

Times: 6:30 – 8:30 PM for all sessions/locations

Registration required as space is limited. Light refreshments will be provided.
