Property Management Clerk – Canada Summer Jobs New Westminster, BC

Lookout Housing and Health Society is a charitable organization and social safety net that provides housing and a range of support services to adults, with low or no income, who have few, if any, housing or support options. Hours, Days of Work and Salary: Will work Monday to Friday. Shift start times will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Shifts are 8 hours in length with 1 hour break, for a total of 35 hours per week. Days of rest shall be consecutive. Schedule may change with two weeks’ notice. The position is temporary and for 8 weeks. The salary is $18.25 per hour.

Job Duties:

• Support the day-to-day operations of the property management department
• Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, helping to draft guides, manuals and/or other resources, and organizing/cataloguing inventory
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
• Communicate effectively with internal teams including managers, tenants, and staff
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Valid OFA 1 First Aid Training Certificate is an asset
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Skills Training is an asset
• Must pass a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Must be within the ages of 15-30 to qualify (funder’s requirement)

Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to manage high workload with multiple priorities
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
