The Opportunity
Are you an experienced accountant looking to apply your skills in a job that gives back to the community? Sometimes a job comes along that s bigger in purpose than the skills required. If you have thought that you would like to take your accounting designation and team leadership skills and apply them in service of the vulnerable in your community, then read on. Union Gospel Mission provides life changing services to the vulnerable in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. We are looking for an experienced, designated, accounting manager, who has successfully lead an accounting team through all accounting functions. You’ll bring your desire for excellence and a positive energy to support the financial structure of a well-respected Vancouver organization and be part of bringing hope and positive change to the lives of those that are often overlooked.
You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
