Job Description / Duties

Do you have strong organization skills, enjoy being part of a team, and work effectively in difficult situations? In this position, you will perform minor building repairs and maintenance of the new Women, Family and Children facility, other UGM facilities and will sometimes fill Custodial shifts on an as-required basis. The successful candidate will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of three years’ recent related experience, and is able to inspect, assess, and determine repair requirements, and perform minor repairs. Basic computer skills and basic carpentry skills are necessary to be successful in this position.
You may encounter community members in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position with 1 available opening and the starting wage for this position is $ 21.45 per hour. For a copy of the full job description, please visit our website.
