Job Description / Duties
Under the direction of the Coordinator, Cordova House & Victory House, the Employment Outreach Worker is responsible for employment readiness and placement of individuals seeking employment through the You’re Hired Program. The Employment Outreach Worker facilitates the identification of employment opportunities and support to individuals to secure jobs.
Qualifications / Required Skills
EDUCATION/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
• Diploma in social sciences, supported employment and/or adult education or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience or other qualifications
• Two years recent related experience
• Proven success with finding employment opportunities and placing employees in jobs
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle with business rate (driving for business purposes) insurance and minimum $3 million liability
• Current Level 1 First Aid and CPR Level B or C certification
• A clear Criminal Record Check for Children and Vulnerable Adults

• Ability to be self-reflective in constructing egalitarian and collegial relationships
