HSABC, with the BC Assembly of First Nations, Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness, BC Society of Transition Houses, Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre, Metis Nation British Columbia, and other partners is presenting the Learn + Connect Series on Homelessness event focusing on Indigenous People on Thursday June 10, 9:15 AM - 4:15 PM PST.
This virtual, full day learning event for service providers brings together people with lived expertise and subject matter experts to build an understanding of policies and practices, including: Land-based healing with Indigenous street community members, the Circle Five Star Elder Program, exploration of the Indigenous definition of homelessness, voices of lived expertise, wellness conversation and other critical topics.
