Vancouver In-Person Training: Self Care: Resilience in Practice with Dr Hillary McBride
September 17, 2025, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
In Person Training
Location: Vancouver, BC
The general consensus from the research about the prevention and treatment of burnout and secondary trauma suggests that self care is essential. But finding time to explore what that means, let alone do it, is often the last thing on our minds when we feel exhausted, hopeless, and just trying to get through. This full day workshop is designed to create space to slow down, connect with yourself in a meaningful way, get unstuck, learn about what you need, creatively express yourself, and connect with others. Through various exercises, practices, including expressive art therapy, yoga, mindfulness, self-reflection, group sharing, and some creative play, you will leave the day with a toolbox full of practices, insights, and moments of connection to nourish you in the work ahead.
