POSITION: Client Records Support (Grid 11) 1 Full Time – Yukon Housing/Al Mitchell Place, Vancouver

HOURS AND DAYS OF WORK:

• Tuesday through Thursday (Yukon Housing) Monday and Friday (Al Mitchell Place)
• Shift times will be 09:00 – 17:00 Hours
• Shifts are 7.25 hours in length
• Days of rest shall be consecutive. Schedule may change with two weeks’ notice
• Probationary/qualifying period will be 488 hours with mid and end point reviews

JOB SUMMARY:

The Client Records Support Worker (CRSW) reports to the Site Manager and works in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Lookout Housing and Health Society, including following Lookout’s Code of Ethics. CRSW’s performs a variety of record duties and IT support functions such as data collection and management, coding, abstracting and performing qualitative and quantitative analyses, and duties related to the support of computer hardware and software. The Client Record Support person will orient staff and/or provide direction to volunteers.

JOB DUTIES (In Brief):

• Perform a variety of word processing duties such as inputting client information, maintaining relevant registers, updating manuals, and preparing reports
• Provide support related to hardware, software, application programs, and basic network communications
• Check client records for accuracy, completeness, and correctness
• Process corrections, update information and changes, code and abstract client records for required information
• Perform qualitative and quantitative data analyses
• Orient staff to record management requirements
• This position provides remote support to other programs, including the occasional requirement to be on site at other locations

Qualifications / Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCE:

• Minimum Grade 12 plus one (1) year of recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work
• Must have current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
• Must have two doses of COVID 19 Vaccine
• Crisis Intervention Skills Training an asset
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong ability to manage stress and organize workload
• Excellent communication, writing, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to understand and maintain clientele/worker boundaries
• Ability to work with disadvantaged and challenging adults in a diverse environment
• Ability to install, upgrade, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain computer equipment and software applications, including knowledge of practices and procedures
• A minimum two (2) years of sobriety if you have had concerns related to alcohol and/or drug use
• Criminal Record Clearance; Vulnerable Sector
