We will quickly cover the definitions, differences, and similarities between bullying and harassment and general steps and best practices to address these issues. Since this webinar is for managers, we will focus on the special duty, responsibility and obligations to curate a workplace environment free from these behaviours, how to address these issues when they arise, and how to repair ruptures in the workplace relationships.

Amanda Thiessen is a social worker, educator, and coach who works with human service organizations. Amanda believes creating just social change is intimately linked to inclusive, collaborative and empowered organizations. Amanda has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years. She is a certified organizational coach and holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology and a Master of Social Work degree in Leadership in Human Services. She is a registered social worker in British Columbia, Canada.
