HSABC's Suicide Prevention Information Transfer Tool Checklist webinar discusses how to use the suicide prevention checklist to provide information to local mental health providers, hospitals, and health authorities. This webinar teaches important categories to pay attention to and how to transfer pertinent information that mental health workers can use to engage vulnerable and at-risk populations. **This webinar is not intended to replace a qualified mental health assessment.** Rather, it's an interactive learning experience that can help participants effectively address risk factors supportively.

Instructor/s Bio/s: Peter Fedos
Peter Fedos has worked in co-ed emergency residential services for 35 years, starting in 1984, his career has spanned from Canada and Australia and includes experience working with hours-old infants, teens, as well as seniors and a range of others. His experience within emergency residential services ranges from frontline shelter work to program supervision and management. In addition, he's managed outreach teams in both BC and Australia. Peter has a Bachelor of Adult Education from the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and a combined Master of Adult Education and Community Development from St Francis Xavier University (STFX).
