HSABC, with  BC Poverty Reduction Coalition, Community Legal Assistance Society, Community Action Network, Downtown Community Court, Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver, First Nations Court, Legal Aid BC, Native Courtworker and Counselling Association of BC, Pivot Legal Society, United Northern Drug Users Undoing Stigma (UNDU), Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU), people with lived and living expertise, and community advocates, is presenting the Learn + Connect Series on Systems Change event focusing on Criminalization of Homelessness on Thursday Mar. 10, 9:30 AM - 4:15 PM PST.

This virtual, free, full day program will focus on open conversations around systemic oppression, criminalization, interventions, and best practices through perspectives of people with lived and living expertise.

Participants will build an understanding of policies and practices with an intersectional perspective including systemic roots of oppression, street sweeps, public spaces, encampments, bylaws, court systems, and a range of peer led best practices and advocacy work.
