Learn + Connect Series on Systems Change |Toxic and Safe(r) Drug Supply

HSABC, with Addiction Services Victoria (ASV), Coalition of Peers Dismantling the Drug War (CPDDW), Coalition of Substance Users of the North (CSUN), Harm Reduction Nurses Association, Open Heart Collaborative, Peer Engagement and Evaluation Project (PEEP), SAFER, Smoke Signals, United Northern Drug Users Undoing Stigma (UNDU), Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU), and other partners is presenting the Learn + Connect Series on Systems Change event focusing on Toxic and Safe(r) Drug Supply on Thursday Jan. 20, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM PST. 

This virtual, full day of learning conversations will focus on considerations for effective, relevant, evidence-based change from the perspectives of people with lived and living expertise with substance use.

Participants will build an understanding of policies and practices with an intersectional perspective including historical factors (racism, colonization, and prohibition); legal context; medical human rights; stimulants; stigma and disconnection; a range of best practices, and other critical topics.
