Job Description / Duties
The Opportunity
Are you a mature Christian who models Christ in word and deed? Are you passionate about walking alongside women and their infant children, as well as caring and providing leadership to those who do the same? Do you have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with marginalized women and lead activities for them? If so, the Sanctuary Shift Supervisor might be a great fit for you. In this position you will need leadership and organizational skills to make referrals and advocate for the residents, and plan and lead activities. You will also use your strong interpersonal skills to assist the residents with their physical, mental, and emotional needs within UGM and community at large. Additionally, you will use your excellent communication skills to take an active role in defusing and de-escalating aggressive situations.
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
