STATUS: Part Time
CLASSIFICATION: Admin Assistant 3 (payroll/bookkeeping)
WORK AREA: Admin Office
EFFECTIVE DATE: Oct.30, 2025
HOURS: 60 hours bi-weekly; 0.80 (FTE)
Week 1: Monday to Friday (payroll week); 8:30am to 4:30pm
Monday to Wednesday (with room for flex); 8:30am to 4:30pm
WAGE: Grid 10: $25.95 - $29.76
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Human Resources Manager, performs a variety of administrative assistant and bookkeeping duties. As a member of the CVTS Team, provide administrative and operational support to the organization. Provides backfill/backup to other bookkeeping and administrative roles.
Qualifications / Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12, plus completion of a program of up to one (1) year in business or office administration training.
• Three years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proficient with Sage Accounting software
• Aptitude with web-based payroll and benefit programs
• One to three years payroll/bookkeeping experience
