Job Description / Duties

About the Job:
Reporting directly to the Director, Human Resources, The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible to manage Atira’s relationship with our employees, developing and implementing employee relations programs and initiatives that support employee relationships from the point of hire to the exiting process. Provides support and expertise to managers in the area of employee relations. Participates in recruitment and hiring, compensation and benefits programs, communicating Human Resources policies and procedures, conducing exit interviews and ultimately analyzing employee data and making recommendations to leadership with respect to employee relations programs.

A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, business management, finance, or a related field plus two years proven working experience as an employee relations specialist, or the equivalent combination of skill based training and proven working experience. Professional certification (e.g. CHRP) is a bonus. Applicants with the equivalent combination of education and experience will be equally considered.

Salary: $59000-$64000 annual salary depending on education & experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and defined contribution pension plan (after an initial disqualification period).
