Job Description / Duties

Are you a mature Christian who is passionate about providing high-quality and culturally diverse Early Years programming? Do you want to spend your days planning, developing, and leading children in stimulating activities to promote holistic growth? Are you a highly adaptable and flexible individual who values, demonstrates, and fosters teamwork? If so, this position might be of great interest to you. With your extensive knowledge of BC’s Early Learning Framework and Early Years Service Framework, you will help plan and assess, and then implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote the well-being of each child. You will also use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with the all staff, and the children and their families—some of which will be in early stages of recovery—providing advocacy and referrals in in a trauma-informed and women-centered way. You will also act as a lead when working with ECAs and non-ECE staff. If you have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, 2 or more years of related work experience, a BC ECE Certificate, and a class 5 driver’s license this could be a great fit!

You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
