Job Description / Duties

The Opportunity
Can you imagine a job where the funds you help raise will provide a second chance for a community living in poverty and addiction? You can use your excellent interpersonal skills, and education or 1-3 years of experience in fundraising or customer relations to make a difference in the lives of marginalized individuals. You’ll assist in preparing events and developing relationships with donors to raise the public’s awareness of Union Gospel Mission and the excellent work it does serving a community in need. Your solid communication and writing skills will help you excel in this role. Come join an excellent team of skilled staff who make ‘making a difference’ their primary goal.
You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
