Job Description / Duties

The Opportunity
Who knew that working in a thrift store could create life changing opportunities for others? Well, that’s precisely what this role involves. You would use your outreach and retail skills to connect with customers, build relationships, create safety in the store and provide connections for our customers who are looking for support services to meet the needs in their lives. And yes, this would involve retail responsibilities (don’t you just love Thrift store finds!) as well as making connections and creating safety for all our customers through trauma informed care and great interpersonal skill.
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
The starting wage for this position is $22.32 per hour.
This is an auxiliary (until early January 2023), full-time (37.5 hours per week) contract. For a copy of the full job description, please visit our website.
