SUMMARY:Webinar: Psychological Coping: Improving and Maintaining Your Men
 tal Health in Essential Work
DESCRIPTION:-- Webinar Description: --\n\nWorking in high-stress environm
ents requires more than resilience—it requires practical tools for nav
igating uncertainty, risk, and emotional impact. This course focuses on
concrete strategies to support wellbeing for both frontline workers and
those in supervisory or management roles.\n\nParticipants will explore p
ractical approaches for coping with uncertainty, clarifying what is and
is not within their control, distinguishing perceived risk from actual r
isk, and applying tools such as values-based decision-making and radical
acceptance where appropriate. The course also addresses strategies for
individuals who are already managing anxiety, trauma, or other mental he
alth challenges, with an emphasis on realistic, compassionate, and susta
inable practices.\n\nFor managers and supervisors, the course offers gui
dance on how to better support staff through clear communication, increa
sing workers’ sense of control, creating space for debriefing and proc
essing difficult events, and recognizing that people cope and recover in
different ways.\n\nThis course is designed to strengthen individual and
team capacity in high-pressure settings by providing practical, adaptab
le tools that can be applied immediately in day-to-day work.\n\n-- Instr
