SUMMARY:Webinar: Transitioning Workplaces: Creating Organizational Safety
  for Gender Diverse Staff
DESCRIPTION:-- Webinar Description: --\n\nUnderstanding of gender diversi
ty is growing day by day. At the same time, many workplaces still have s
ubtle and explicit norms that reinforce cisgender experiences and view g
ender diverse identities and expressions as \"different\" or \"other.\"
As a result, many gender diverse people experience disproportionate barr
iers to employment as well as cumulative barriers to belonging over time
. In this webinar, Ambit will introduce frameworks for understanding gen
der diversity beyond the binary, work through scenarios that explore wor
kplace culture and power dynamics, offer examples of gender-affirming pr
actices and explore strategies for applying these learnings on a persona
l, relational, and systemic level within HSABC member organizations. Whi
le this webinar is open to anyone, certain sections may feel more releva
nt to those in positions of team management or supervision.\n\n-- Instru
