 -\n\nImproving Safety in All Gender Spaces is a workshop designed to nav
 igate challenging conversations around safety for people of diverse gend
 er experiences. “The term ‘people of diverse gender experiences’ i
 s intended to include anyone of traditionally marginalized genders. This
  includes cis women, as well as all trans, Two Spirit, nonbinary, or alt
 ernate gender identifying people along the gender spectrum excluding cis
 gender men. Individuals within these groups experience gender and violen
 ce in different, nuanced ways.\n\nThis workshop is broken up into six di
 fferent sections cultivating knowledge around diverse communities, decol
 onizing gender identities, building gender affirming spaces, understandi
 ng levels of oppression and gender based violence, recognizing harms of 
 help, learning an ethical decision making framework, becoming an ally, a
 nd working through real life scenarios. This workshop includes twenty pr
 actical tips for improving safety in all gender spaces, how to do an equ
 ity walk through in your space, and how to build inclusive intake forms.
 \n\nThis workshop will answer the question, ‘How do we improve safety 
 for people of diverse gender experiences in all-gender spaces?”\n\n-- 
 Instructor: Jessy Dame --\n\nInstructor Bio: Jessy Dame is a very proud
  Two-Spirit, Métis, Certified Registered Nurse. Jessy was a recipient o
 f the King Charles III Coronation Medal in September 2024. Jessy’s fam
 ily is from Treaty 1 and 2 territory, which is known today as Winnipeg a
 nd St Rose-du-lac. Jessy has worked within Neonatal/Postnatal health. He
  currently works casually within a queer sexual health clinic in downtow
 n Vancouver. Jessy is the Indigenous Sex and Gender Leader within the In
 digenous Wellness team and the Director of Two-Spirit Health with the Co
 mmunity Based Research Centre. Through these roles Jessy is able to work
  with and for the Two-Spirit community to create resources and advocate
