Webinar: Gender-Affirming Housing Services and Programs: Strong Practices for Supporting Gender Diverse Clients
April 29, 2026, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Webinar Description:
Understanding of gender diversity is growing day by day. At the same time, transgender, non-binary, Two-Spirit and other gender diverse people are still more likely than cisgender peers to experience homelessness as well as barriers to relevant and accessible housing services. In this participatory webinar, Ambit will introduce frameworks for understanding gender diversity beyond the binary and work through nuanced scenarios that explore how to build better relationships with gender diverse clients. While this webinar is open to anyone, it will focus on language, behaviours, and skills that front-lines workers can develop to better support clients of all genders.
