Important Update

Due to a recent loss, the Anti-Oppressive De-Escalation (AOP) session has been cancelled. In its place, we will be offering a shorter, peer-led Non-Violent Crisis Intervention session with Kevin Parker from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

If you are registered for the Anti-Oppressive De-Escalation (AOP) session you will automatically be registered for the peer-led Non-Violent Crisis Intervention session with Kevin Parker from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Please check your email for your Zoom invitation.

This session will focus on practical, real-world approaches to de-escalation, including recognizing early signs of escalation, using communication and body language to reduce tension, and responding in ways that prioritize safety, dignity, and connection. Grounded in frontline experience, this training offers simple, usable tools that support both client care and staff well-being.

We appreciate your understanding and will share updates on the rescheduling of the AOP session as soon as they are available.
