DESCRIPTION: \n\nIn this two-part series, registered nurse Corey Ranger 
 will be offering learners an opportunity to take a deeper dive into harm
  reduction, where it came from, and the values and principles that form 
 the foundation of harm reduction work or practice. Learners in the first
  session will examine the principles of harm reduction and the many ways
  in which it is practiced. Learners will be asked to reflect on their ow
 n guiding values in relation to harm reduction, and identify ways in whi
 ch harm reduction can be incorporated into their workplace.\n\nInstructo
 r: Cory Ranger\n\n'Corey Ranger is a registered nurse with experience wo
 rking in harm reduction across Alberta--he has facilitated blood-borne p
 athogens programming for street-entrenched individuals in Edmonton's inn
 er-city core; worked on the harm reduction team in Calgary; started HIV 
 programming in Brooks; and most recently been responsible for implementi
 ng naloxone programming and supervised consumption services (SCS) in Med
 icine Hat. Corey has been a post-secondary instructor for community and 
 mental health nursing at Medicine Hat College, and is an advocate for ev
 idence-informed, pragmatic public policy. Corey is currently project man
 ager for BCcampus, responsible for the development, implementation, and 
 evaluation of a provincial peer training curriculum and standards of pra
