HSABC is excited to partner with the BC Non-Profit Housing Association to deliver training sessions for the Lower Mainland, Northern and Interior RENTs.
The sessions are designed for front-line workers and housing support staff, who work with people that are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. These practical workshops integrate theory and practice to ensure participants are able to transfer classroom learning into skills that can help them work more effectively with their clients.
The goal is to make the RENT a highly interactive day, with time for networking and information sharing among homelessness service and non-profit housing providers and local governments.
HSABC will also be hosting a regional round table dialogue at each RENT.
These dialogues will give us an opportunity to update you on research and projects we are working on here at HSABC. We will also be able to meet with you, learn more about the key challenges, trends and issues you are dealing with in the sector and get your feedback on how HSABC can best continue to support and advocate for you in ensuring you are able to provide the important services that you do.
