This includes people impacted by critical incidents such as overdoses and/or deaths during the course of their work. The MRT was created with support from the BC Ministry of Health and BC Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions in recognition of the psychosocial impact of the overdose public health emergency on first responders, frontline workers and people with lived experience/peers.
