2018 HSABC Conference – Registration

Full conference registration includes all training workshops, keynote presentations, and some meals for the registered attendee. Registration also includes panel discussions, plenary sessions and regional roundtables. There are a limited number of spots available for two regional tours throughout Metro Vancouver that are included in registration.  

HSABC and BC Housing are proud to offer a Vulnerability Assessment Tool (VAT) certification training at the 2018 HSABC Conference. VAT training is a Canada-wide training program to help housing providers determine eligibility and allocate services and housing for homeless adults. Conference attendees from outside Metro Vancouver will be given priority in registering for VAT training. Training includes two, two-hour webinars (September 4, 2:00-4:00pm and September 11, 2:00-4:00pm) that participants are required to complete prior to the conference, followed by a one-day in-person session on September 19th at the HSABC conference. Space is limited, and spots are expected to fill up fast!  HSABC will follow up with registered participants by August 24th on whether they have been selected for the training and to give them an overview of the training program and format for the webinars and in-person training . Please note during the online registration process you are required to pre-select the workshop sessions you wish to attend.

Non-Member: $350.00

After July 31
Member: $300.00
Non-Member: $400.00

All conference registration subject to 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST)

Payment and Refund Information:

Payment is accepted online through PayPal, or by cheque payable in Canadian funds. If you select to make payment by cheque when registering online, cheque payments should be made payable to “Homelessness Services Association of BC” and should be mailed to:

Cheque payments must be received by HSABC no later than September 3rd for registration to be complete.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration cancellations are permitted until TuesdayJuly 31, 2018. Registrants will receive a full refund less a 25% (twenty-five percent) administrative fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to HSABC by email to zharkyn.baiazova@hsa-bc.ca. All registrations made after July 31st are non-refundable. Although no refunds will be issued after July 31st registration transfers or substitutions of conference registration to other individuals may be possible.
